35km before cajamarca to something i haven´t seen for a "long" time
- paved road -
i tried to break the distance / elevation from el tingo to cajamarca into doable portions. this is a little difficult with inaccurate maps and road descriptions but worked out quite well.

Hi Gingo star,
seems like we're worlds apart now, we love seeing your photos and reading your blog, wetting our appetite for riding down south. we've been a bit stuck, i've been sick, but getting back to normal again, and hopefully back in the saddle next week. Can't wait. Big probs in Honduras, so we may have to fly and bypass the trouble, we'll see. First on our way to Tikal, then Belize. Lots of love and keep the rubber side down!
