again nice scenery along the gravel road and later on the road towards the milford sound. i stoped at the tourist information to check about the bus connection from milford to queenstown. they told that there is only one bus that takes bikes and that would leave at 9.30 tomorrow morning. that meant staying in milford for a day or riding longer today (btw milford seems to be the capital of sandflies!?)
