not the first, not the fastest, not the longest, not the highest,.... and of course it starts in the middle of something completely different.... so, to use a famous movie quote "Hello, and welcome to 'The Middle of the Film"

scenic ride along the canals but massive head and cross winds blew me almost off the dam!?
hi there! I met this couple too! It was a few days before New Years I think. Both they and I arrived at the same bicycle shop with troubles. We were in Motueka (top of the south island)--and they were incredibly kind...she and I talked for a long while about all sorts of things. I remember they both struck me as both exceedingly physically beautiful people. It was actually a pretty funny situation I witnessed between the two of them, because they were at the bike shop to get something fixed on his crank arm(s); and while they were there he wanted to show the bicycle shop guy what the problem was. So he rode on the back of the bike for the first time; shop guy on the front......and while he was riding on the back he realized how utterly wobbly her pedals were and came back from the short test ride across the parking lot playfully-accusing her of never pedaling! Such a common jeer on a tandem--but one with possible truth here! Hope you are having a great day :) And fun we met the same people...
